All property in
Clopper's Mill is
encumbered by the
Declaration of
Covenants,
Conditions and
Restrictions for the association. No additions or changes to the exterior
of a
lot may be performed without approval by the Board of
Directors. The Board of Directors may delegate the
application review process to an appointed Architectural
Committee.
Exterior changes include any alteration
in exterior color,
alteration of landscaping,
or fencing of property. Sheds,
pens,
kennels, and outdoor clothes drying are expressly
forbidden.
To obtain approval for
a change, submit your plans and
specifications for the change to the association using
an architectural change form. Approval for any alteration
must be obtained before any changes are implemented.
Failure to obtain approval prior to implementing exterior
changes is a violation of the covenants and may result in a
fine of $150 plus $25 per day that the violation continues.
If a requested modification is not approved, a lot owner
may request a hearing before the Board of Directors to
appeal the decision.
